there are farmers for any kind of game. Even SWTOR will have credit farmers later in the game just as SWG had credit farmers and other MMOs have gold farmers. It destabilizes the in-game economy to the point where a simple item would cost the proverbial arm and a leg. To sum up my rant/explanation: it's funcked up.

Nope, no gold buying here. I find it easier to just sell the items I have in game and keep my real money in my pocket than use it to buy fake money in a game!
